After leaving Capcom in 2010, Inafune founded his own companies Comcept and Intercept, where he is CEO . At Comcept and at Intercept, Inafune is the creator of Mighty No. 9 and the upcoming Red Ash: The Indelible Legend games. In many early game credits, he uses the name "INAFKING". Since founding Comcept, he is often given the credit of "Comceptor".

Born in Kishiwada, Osaka , [2] 22-year-old Keiji joined the Capcom corporation not long after graduating, in 1987, in search of a job as an illustrator . His first assignment as graphic designer was Street Fighter (1987), and the character Adon was the only one fully designed by him. [3]

Inafune joined the team producing the first Rockman game (known outside Japan as Mega Man ). Akira Kitamura , director for the game created the original static pixel art sprite for Mega Man. This was to ensure that the sprite could be properly seen against the game's backgrounds, and could work in the game. After that, the pixel art was handed over to artist Inafune, who created a refined illustration of the character. [4] [5] [1] Inafune refers to this process as "like a reverse character design" as it is the opposite of what typically occurs, where artists create concept art which is then translated into game's graphics. .vg is the Internet country code top-level domain ( ccTLD ) for the British Virgin Islands . Because it allows registration at the second level, and does not require the registrant to be associated with the British Virgin Islands, it has also been used by piracy related websites such as The Pirate Bay , and video gaming related blogs and websites such as the popular Spanish gaming website at www.atomix.vg and the English classic gaming website www.play.vg .

In March 2013 domain name registrars such as GoDaddy stopped accepting new registrations for .vg, .gd , and .tc domain names. [1] This is the result of a dispute over the ownership and control of AdamsNames Ltd., which had been the accredited registry by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) for those top level domains. [2] A former partner of AdamsNames Ltd. created a new company, Meridian TLD, which claimed to be the new accredited registry. [3]

On 10 April 2014, the zone was re-delegated by IANA to KSregistry. [4] The sponsoring organization was re-delegated to The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Virgin Islands (TRC). All changes that were made in the .vg zone after 8 March 2013 were lost as Meridian TLD did not cooperate by giving the zone file to KSregistry. After the re-delegation there was a one-month window where KSregistry-accredited registrars would be able to update, renew, or delete domain names from 15 April 2014, 10:00 UTC to 11 May 2014, 23:59 UTC. After 12 May 2014, 10:00 UTC, KSregistry would allow new domains to be registered.
